Location

As of 8/15/22, Metal Morphosis Jewelry Studio will be moving to our new(larger!) location at 1970 W. Fayette Street, Suite 2B30, Syracuse, NY 13204.

We are in the Gere Block Building that is currently being redeveloped and includes other businesses such as Eden Green Market, Safe Space and the Cornell Brain Academy.

Parking for Metal Morphosis Jewelry Studio is available for free to students in the lot adjacent to the building.

Student Requirements

Age: Some classes we offer, such as basic metal work and beading, are appropriate for all ages. However, for classes that involve fire, soldering, fusing and glass work we ask that students be 13 and over. Exceptions can be made with prior approval.

Experience: Jewelry making experience is not required for most classes, unless specified.

Physical Requirements: The ability to manipulate items with both hands and follow safety instructions is required for most of the work we do.

If you wear reading glasses, bring them for close up work.

Things to Bring: Please bring a mask to wear during class for using certain types of equipment. You are welcome to bring your own safety glasses if you prefer.

Dress Code=Please wear closed toed shoes (no sandals or flip flops allowed in the studio.) Bring a hair tie for long hair and avoid loose clothing or dangling jewelry that can be caught in machines.
