Start with a Ring
Get a feel for what it’s like to make a ring through a free online class
Make your own custom ring at RINGBAR! Bring a friend or a group and design your own rings. Choose your favorite base ring-add a texture if you like, a gemstone, a spinner, patina or not-its all up to you!
When you arrive at class you’ll choose your design from a menu of choices and we’ll have examples to get the inspiration flowing!

Make It and Take It
We offer several classes each month where you make something to take home with you.
Spinner Rings, Stacking Rings and Torch-Fired Enameling classes are examples of projects that can be finished in 2-4 hours.
We also offer longer “Series” style classes in the summer months that run for 3-5 days
Date Night
Bring a date or a friend and come make a ring from scratch!
We’ll give you a variety of metal choices to choose from.
Light snacks and a relaxed vibe for you to start your weekend out right.
Make Your Own Wedding Bands
Be the first of your friends to make your own wedding rings!
We’ll help with sizing, ordering your gold or silver and making your ring from start to finish.
You’ll get to do the heavy lifting of filing, soldering, cleanup and polishing your ring and will feel proud when you say you made it yourself!
We’ll walk you through every step of the way!
The Mentorship
Spend 3 hours a week, for 6 weeks diving deeper into metalsmithing with sessions on soldering, sawing and stone setting.
You’ll start to understand the why, what and how a whole lot better.
I also work with you to get set up with a studio of your own.

About Your Guide
I’m Kelly
I spent 19 years in a career that had nothing to do with making anything — until 2012, when I finally listened to the creative voice I'd been ignoring my whole life.
The very first jewelry class I taught in 2012 was an Earring Class at my local Adult Ed program. Little did I know, that class was just the beginning of my jewelry making journey.
Today I run a Jewelry School, Gallery and Online Membership right here in Syracuse — and I love watching my student’s confidence and abilities expand.
You don't need a fine arts degree, just someone to show you the basics to get started.
Where you take that is up to you.
